PURPOSE:APPROVE COMBINATION “CLASS B” LICENSE
INITIATED BY:CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, applications for licenses have been made, fees deposited, and all legal
procedures have been taken as per Ordinance of the City of Oshkosh,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh
that one license be granted to one of the following applicants:

Re: Liquor License, City of Oshkosh
To: City Conncil Members:
I am requesting the issuance of the liquor license that is available within the City of
Oshkosh.
My intent for the license is to increase my customer base and give my customer's a wider
selection of beverages.
I presently hold two wine and beer license at my two restaurants in Oshkosh. My
businesses are Cinders Restaurant on Main Street and Sisters Restaurant.
I am a life-long citizen of Oshkosh. For the past twenty-five years I have own and
operated Cinders on Main and in 1992 opened Sisters Pizza. I have never had any
citations in regards to the liquor license.
In the past year, I have expanded my business to the 9th Street location and I have worked
hard at re-refurbishing the restaurant. I have a bar room with a comfortable, cozy and
non-smoking atmosphere. This license would greatly enhance this atmosphere.

Dear Council Members:
This letter is to serve as my notice of intent to petition for the available City of Oshkosh
combination class B liquor license.
My plan is to construct a yacht club in combination with Sweetwater Performance Center.
This new establishment would allow residents and visitors to enjoy the beautiful water ways
of Oshkosh. The staff of Sweetwater Performance Center and I have made a commitment to
continue the improvement of this property and the surrounding area.
. Location: 102 West 5th Avenue
· Description: Yacht club serving food and beverages with river and street access
· Proposed Construction: Fall 2006
I look forward to obtaining the available liquor license, which could lead to further Oshkosh
revitalization. Thank you for your consideration.
