RE: Sign Permit Application - Winnebago Comm. Credit Union
Dear Mr. Grall,
On June 20 of this year, you submitted information for a zoning sign review and building permit review
for proposed ground signage for Winnebago Comm. Credit Union at 2060 Witzel Avenue in the City of
Oshkosh. The sign permit cannot be issued at this time as there is no building permit application for
construction on the vacant lot and therefore the property does nothave a use associated with it.
Without a use or associated structure, the sign is considered an off-site advertising sign, which is not
permitted.
It is my understanding that an application for the credit union is forthcoming and therefore the zoning
review for this project has been administered and conceptually approved (a copy of the zoning sign
approval is attached) and your full application has been forwarded to the Inspection Division. The
complete review and possible permit will be held until such time as a building permit for the use on the
- property is accepted. Additionally, the review fee check is being returned to you and will be required at
thE~ time that the permit is issued.
