New York Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54901 Dear Ms. Pope: This letter is in regard to the location of the shed that was installed as part of your rehabilitation project under the City of Oshkosh Housing Improvement Loan Program. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the location of the shed does not comply with zoning regulations. You and the contractor, Reeves Construction, have been made aware of this, and the contractor is willing to move the shed to a location that complies with zoning regulations. During my conversation with you on June 6, 2006, you indicated that you want the shed to remain where it is. The only way the shed can remain where it is would be for a variance to be granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals. You should be aware that variances are not granted automatically. Call the Zoning Administrator David Buck at 236-5062 for more information on the variance process. At this point, the contractor will still be paid under the terms of our rehab program and your project will be closed. If you do not apply for a variance, or are denied a variance by the Board of Zoning Appeals by August 9, 2006 you will be responsible for moving the shed to a compliant location or be subject to Municipal Citations. Please call me at 236-5056 if you want Reeves Construction to move the shed as part of our rehab program. If I do not hear from you by June 14,2006, I will assume that you will address the shed location without assistance from the rehab program. Sincerely, rcenneth (Jresser Housing Rehab Specialist cc: Reeves Construction David Buck, Zoning Administrator John Zarate, Building Inspector
