Items such as the garage roof, junk and debris scattered throughout the property, grass, and parking violations were noted. Inspection was conducted and I stopped to talk to the owners. They stated that they needed more time. I gave them a 30 day extension. The yard was still a mess. Owners have attempted to make some progress. A for sale sign was posted in the front yard. I gave them an additional 30 day extension due to no neighbor complaints. Inspection conducted no attempt to comply. Second Correction Notice issued. It stated that all the junk, debris, and garbage is to be removed from the property by 12/1105 or citations would be issued. Kathleen Amundson called to state that she had left the area and moved to South Carolina. She had given the property to her son. She stated that he son Chris was living at 1740 Taft St in Oshkosh. An inspection was conducted. The property was abandoned. I called Chris and he stated that the pipes had froze and burst inside the house. He stated that his mom had left the state and she left him with the house. He has bone cancer and he doesn't have the money to clean up the property or the physical energy to do it. He stated that he's hoping that the bank forc1oses on the house. An inspection was conducted and there has been no attempt to comply. Abatement order requested.
