The owner, as dermed in Chapter 101.01(10), Wisconsin Statutes, is responsible for compliance with all code requirements Key Item(s) I Conditions: IMC 304.1 Equipment and appliances shall be installed as required by the terms of their approval, in accordance with the conditions of the listing, the manufactures instructions and this code. IMC 401.5.1 Mechanica] and gravity outside air intake openings shall be located a minimum of]O feet from any hazardous or noxious contaminant such as vents, chimneys, plumbing vents, streets, alleys, parking lots and loading docks. Relocate outside air intake to comply with these requirements. MUN 30-35 (1)(5) All roof top and ground level mechanical equipment and utilities shall be fully screened from view of any street or residential zoning district. Contact David Buck - Associate planner (920) 236- 5062 for additional information on screening requirements. All screening shall be properly anchored in place to resist wind loads. Additionally mc 1608.8 Roofprojections - Drift loads due to mechanical equipment, penthouses, parapets and other projections above the roof shall be determined in accordance with Section 7.8 of ASCE 7. If any equipment is to be located on exterior including an AlC Condenser, a screening plan is required to be submitted and approved. Comm 61.31(4) Revisions to approved plans. All proposed revisions and modifications which involve rules under this code and which are made to construction documents that have previously been granted approval by the department or its authorized representative, shall be submitted to the office that granted the approval. All revisions and modifications to plans shall be approved in writing by the department or its authorized representative prior to the work involved in the revision or modification being carried out. Prior to the initial occupancy of an alteration the supervising professional shall file a compliance statement form SBD-9720 with this office. A copy of the approved plans, specifications, and this letter shall be on-site during construction. All pernùts are required to be obtained prior to commencement of work. In granting this approval the City of Oshkosh Inspection Services Department reserves the right to require changes or additions should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12(2), nothing in this review shall relieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building, structure, or component.
