The submittal has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED. The owner, as derIDed in Chapter 101.01(10), Wisconsin Statutes, is responsible for compliance with all code requirements Key ltem(s) / Conditions: IBC 711.3 Any penetrations of fire rated assemblies are required to be protected with a listed firestopping system that matches the rating of the wall assembly being penetrated. Copies of the firestopping systems are required to be provided at the time of inspection. IBC 1003.2.10 Exit signs are required to be installed per this section IBC 2902..1/ Table 2902 Drinking water is required to be provided, since no drinking fountain is shown on plans a bottled water cooler is required to be provided. IFC 304.3 Containers. Combustible rubbish and waste material kept within a structure shall be stored in accordance with Sections 304.3.1 through 304.3.3. IFC 304.3.3 Capacity exceeding 1.5 cubic yards. Dumpsters and containers with an individual capacity of 1.5 cubic yards or more shall not be stored in buildings or placed within 5 feet of combustible walls, openings, or combustible roof eve lines. IMC 304.1 Equipment and appliances shall be installed as required by the terms of their approval, in accordance with the conditions of the listing, the manufactures instructions and this code. Equipment and appliances installed at grade level shall be supported on a level concrete slab or other approved material extending above adjoining grade or shall be suspended a minimum of 6 inches (152 mm) above adjoining grade. . IMC 307.1 Liquid combustion by-products of condensing appliances shall be collected and discharged to an approved plumbing fIXture or disposal area. Plans indicate" Drain to Outside" this is not permitted. IFGC 307.2.1/ IMC 307.2.1 Provide a means to convey condensate from cooling coils and evaporators from a drain pan outlet to an approved place of disposal. Discharge into a street, alley or other areas of nuisance are not allowed. Plans indicate" Drain to Outside" this is not permitted. IMC 401.5 Opening Location Outside air exhaust and intake openings shall be located a minimum of 10 feet (3048 rom) from lot lines or buildings on the same lot. Where openings front on a street or public way, the distance shall be measured to the centerline of the street or public way. IMC 401.5.1 Mechanical and gravity outside air intake openings shall be located a minimum of 10 feet from any hazardous or noxious contaminant such as vents, chinmeys, plumbing vents, streets, alleys, parking lots and loading docks. 401.5.2 Exhaust openings. Outside exhaust openings shall be located so as not to create a nuisance. Exhaust air shall not be directed onto walkways. 403.2 Outdoor air required. The minimum ventilation rate of required outdoor air shall be determined in accordance with Section 403.3. IMC 405.1 Mechanical ventilation systems shall be provided with manual or automatic controls that will operate such systems whenever the spaces are occupied. Air conditioning systems that supply required ventilation air shall be provided with controls designed to automatically maintain the required outdoor air supply rate during occupancy. IECC 803.3.3.3 Off-hour controls. Each zone shall be provided with thermostatic setback conttols that are controlled by either an automatic time clock or programmable control system. IFGC 619.2 Support. Suspended-type unit heaters shall be supported by elements that are designed and constructed to accommodate the weight and dynamic loads. Hangers and brackets shall be of noncombustible material. Comm 61.30(3) This review does not include lighting. Comm 63.0001 Prior to installation, lighting plans and calculations shall be prepared in compliance with the code. The plans shall be available upon request. Comm 80 This plan review does not include plumbing. Prior to installation of plumbing, plans and calculations are required to be submitted and approved if required by plumbing code. While no formal plumbing plan review has been conducted, be aware that the quantity of clearwater discharge appears to exceed the 50 gallons per day allowed per Table 82.38-1, due to the volume of water being discharged from the humidification equipment being installed. A storm water drain appears to be needed to serve as a point of discharge for clear water waste from this site. All proposed revisions and modifications which involve rules under this code and which are made to construction documents that have previously been granted approval by the department or its authorized representative, shall be submitted to the office that granted the approval. All revisions and modifications to plans shall be approved in writing by the department or its authorized representative prior to the work involved in the revision or modification being carried out. A revision or modification to a plan, drawing or specification shall be signed and sealed in accordance with Comm 61.31(1). MUN 30-35 (1)(5) All rooftop and ground level mechanical equipment and utilities shall be fully screened from view of any street or residential zoning district. Contact David Buck - Associate planner (920) 236- 5062 for additional information on screening requirements. All screening shall be properly anchored in place to resist wind loads. Additionally mc 1608.8 Roofprojections - Drift loads due to mechanical equipment, penthouses, parapets and other projections above the roof shall be determined in accordance with Section 7.8 of ASCE 7. No HVAC permit can be issued until an approved screening plan has been submitted SUBMIT: IECC 503.3.3.7 [Comm 63.0503(2)(f)] Balancing and documentation of the HV AC system shall conform to the !MC. Balancing report required to be submitted prior to final occupancy being allowed. IBC 1003.2.11 Means of egress illumination is required to be installed per this section. All paths of egress are required to have adequate emergency lighting to meet the performance requirements of IBC 1003.2.11.3. Existing means of egress emergency lighting is permitted to be maintained in compliance with the code in effect at the time of construction. Any altered path of egress, or new path of egress, and any new emergency lighting being installed is required to comply with current code requirements. Provide complete emergency lighting plan-showing compliance with these requirements prior to installation of emergency lighting system. . Comm 61.50 (4) Supervision. Prior to the initial occupancy of an alteration the supervising professional shall file a compliance statement form SBD-9720 with this office. A copy of the approved plans, specifications, and this letter shall be on-site during construction. All permits are required to be obtained prior to commencement of work. In granting this approval the City of Oshkosh Inspection Services Department reserves the right to require changes or additions should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12(2), nothing in this review shall relieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building, structute, or component.
