16-34A CD WPS HAS TAGGED THE FURNACE AS UNSAFE DUE TO A CRACKED HEAT EXCHANGER.
THE TENANT CLAIMS YOU ROOVED THE TAG. IN SPEAKING WITH WPS, THEY CLAIM
NO REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THEIR KNOWLEDGE. THE FURNACE SHALL BE RE-
PLACED. PERMIT REQUIRED.
16-34A (3) EXTENSION CORDS ARE BEING USED IN THE LIVING ROOM FOR ADDTIONAL ELECTRI
OUTLETS. THESE CORDS ARE UNDER THE RUG AND CREATE A HAZARD. ADDITIONAL
ELECTRICAL OUTLETS SHALL BE INSTALLED BY A LICENSED CONTRACTOR. PERMIT
REQUIRED.

COMPLIANCE DATE:
THE OPEN SIDE OF THE LOWER PART OF THE STAIRS TO THE SECOND FLOOR SHALL
BE EQUIPPED WITH A HANDRAIL AND INTERMEDIATE RAILS.
DEADBOLT LOCKING DEVICES SHALL BE INSTALLED ON THE TWO FRaN-ENTRY DOORS
AND THE DEFEfITIVE DEADBOLT ON THE REAR DOOR SHALL BE REPLACED.
THE LIGHT OVER THE KITCHEN SINK IS WIRED IMPROPERLY AND SHALL BE REPLAC
AND PROPERLY WIRED.
A GFI ELECTRICAL RECEPTACLE SHALL BE INSTALLED IN THE BATHROOM. TENANTS
PRESENTLY HAVE TO RUN CORDS THROUGH THE DOOR. PERMIT AND ELECTRICIAN
REQUIRED.
THE TOILET FLUSH VALVE CREATES A CROSS CONNECTION AND SHALL BE REPLACE
WITH A PROPER VALVE.

FINDINGS OF INSPECTION
THE HOSE IN THE BATHTUB CREATES A CROSS CONNECTION OF POTABLE WATER AND
SEWAGE AND SHALL EITHER BE ROOVED OR BACKFLOW PROTECTION INSTALLED.
THE BATHTUB IS IN POOR CONDITION BEING \lKJRN THROUGH THE PORCELAN TO
BARE METAL AND RUSTING. THE TUB SHALL BE REPLACED BY A LICENSED PLUMB-
OR PROPERLY REGLAZED BY A REGLAZING COMPANY.
THE VENTING ON THE WATERHEATER SHALL BE SCREWED TOGETHER.
THE QUAD OUTLET BOX IN THE REAR PORTION OF THE BUILDING DOES NOT TEST
PROPERLY AND SHOWS SIGNS OF SHORTING.
THE ROOFING OVER THE REAR PORTION OF THE DWELLING IS DETERIORATED AND
ALLOWS RAINI'IATER TO INFILTRATE AND RUN DOWN THE WALL. THE ROOFING
SHALL BE REPLACED. -
THE EXTENSION CORD ON THE GROUND FROM THE HOUSE TO THE GARAGE CREATES
A SHOCK HAZARD AND SHALL BE ROOVED.
VIOLATIONS #2, & #13 SHALL BE CORRECTED ON OR BEFORE MARCH 14, 1994.
VIOLATIONS #1- 15, #10,  SHALL BE CORRECTED ON OR BEFORE MARCH 25,
1994.

TODAY I MADE AREINSPECTION OF 558 GRAND STREET TO DETERMINE
WHETHER OR NOT ANYTHING HAD BEENOONE TO CORRECT THE VIOLATIONS
NOTED MARCH 9, 1994. THIS INSPECTION WAS MADE PRIOR TO RECEIVING
YOUR LETTER DATED JULY 11 1994.

IT WAS NOTED THAT THE ELECTRICAL VIOLATIONS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED.
ALL OTHER VIOLATIONS ARE STILL UNCORRECTED.
I SPOKE,li, 0 T, HE TENANT, DENESE, GOODEAR, L.E" ,AND SH,E IND,ICATED TO
ME THAT THEY HAD A LEASE UNTIL NOVEMBER 1994 AND THAT THE JUDGE
DURING AN EVICTION HEARING HAD DENIED THE EVICTION PROCEEDING. SHE
ALSO INDICATED THAT THE LAST TIME MR FALTERSACK APPEARED ON THE PRE-
MISES HE WANTED liD PHOTOGRAPH THE INTERIOR. I AM UNSURE HOW TAKING
PHOliOGRAPHS OF THE INTERIOR WOULD HELP IN CORRECTING THE VIOLATIONS.
SHE BELIEVED THIS WAS AN INVASION OF" PRIVACY. DENESE GOODEARLE HAS
NO PROBLEM WITH LETTING MR FALTERSACK MAKE THE CORRECTIONS AND HAS
AGREED TO ALLOW HIM (WITHOUT A CAMERA) TO ENTER THE PREMISES ON
MONDAY, JULY 18, 1994 IN THE A.M. I WILL BE PRESENT AT THAT TIME.
