The submittal described above has been reviewed for conformance with applicable Wisconsin Administrative Codes and
Wisconsin Statutes. The submittal has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED. The owner, as defined in Chapter
101.01(10), Wisconsin Statutes, is responsible for compliance with all code requirements
Key Item(s) I Conditions:
IBC 711.3 Any penetrations of fire rated assemblies are required to be protected with a listed flrestopping
system that matches the rating of the wall assembly being penetrated. Copies of the flrestopping systems
are required to be provided at the time of inspection. Based on review of property file it would appear
that ductwork is penetrating rated walls - verify actualfield conditions, andfirestop properly iffirewalls
are penetrated.
IBC 1101.2/ANSI A117.1-308.2 & 3 - Mechanical system controls shall be located a maximum of 48"
above the finished floor if the floor space allows a forward approach by a wheel chair or if the clear space
allows a parallel approach.
IMC 304.1 Equipment and appliances shall be installed as required by the terms of their approval, in
accordance with the conditions of the listing, the manufactures instructions and this code.
403.2 Outdoor air required. The minimum ventilation rate of required outdoor air shall be determined in
accordance with Section 403.3. No information as to volume of outside air provided by existing constant
volume system was provided - Designer to verify that existing system provides adequate outside air to
provide for this space that is being converted from previously unfinished storage space to an occupied
area.
IMC 403.3.4 Balancing Ventilation systems shall be balanced by an approved method. Such balancing
shall verify that the ventilation system is capable of supplying the airflow rates required by Section 403.
1MC 405.1 Mechanical ventilation systems shall be provided with manual or automatic controls that will
operate such systems whenever the spaces are occupied. Air conditioning systems that supply required
ventilation air shall be provided with controls designed to automatically maintain the required outdoor air
supply rate during occupancy.

IECC 803.3.3.3 Off-hour controls. Each zone shall be provided with thermostatic setback controls that
are controlled by either an automatic time clock or programmable control system.
Comm 61.31(4) Revisions to approved plans. All proposed revisions and modifications which involve
rules under this code and which are made to construction documents that have previously been granted
approval by the department or its authorized representative, shall be submitted to the office that granted the
approval. All revisions and modifications to plans shall be approved in writing by the department or its
authorized representative prior to the work involved in the revision or modification being carried out. A
revision or modification to a plan, drawing or specification shall be signed and sealed in accordance with
Comm61.31(1).
SUBMIT:
. Comm 61.50 (4) Supervision. Prior to the initial occupancy of an alteration the supervising professional
shall file a compliance statement form SBD-9720 with this office.
A copy of the approved plans, specifications, and this letter shall be on-site during construction. All permits are required to
be obtained prior to commencement of work.
In granting this approval the City of Oshkosh Inspection Services Department reserves the right to require changes or
additions should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12(2), nothing in this
review shall relieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building, structure, or component.
