Home My WebLink About06-40.doc JANUARY 10,2006 JANUARY 24,2006 FIRST READING SECOND READING 06-21 06-40 ORDINANCE (CARRIED 7 -0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: OFFICIAL MAP DELETION I PORTION OF NORTH WASHBURN STREET EXTENDED AT STATE HIGHWAY 21 INITIATED BY: CITY ADMINISTRATION PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30-68 OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE OFFICIAL MAP. WHEREAS, a public hearing, after due and proper notice, was duly held before the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh concerning the adoption of this amendment to the Official Map of the City of Oshkosh, and the Plan Commission having duly recommended the adoption of this Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 30-68 of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to the Official Map of the City of Oshkosh and its extraterritorial jurisdiction shown, is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the present map sheet, and the substituting therefore an amended map sheet, thereby making the following revisions to the official map: OFFICIAL MAP DELETION I PORTION OF N. WASHBURN STREET EXTENDED AT STATE HIGHWAY 21 The NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 16, T18N, R16E, in the City of Oshkosh and Town of Algoma, lying within the following described traverse: Commencing at the NE corner of said NE 1/4-SE 1/4; thence S 63-09-11 W along a random line for 656.96 f1. to a point on S right-of-way line of proposed Washburn S1. and the point of beginning; thence along said right-of-way line S 81-32-47 W for 706.55 f1.; thence SWly 63.93 f1. along 173.94 f1. radius curve deflecting to the left, with a chord bearing S 71-18-22 W 63.57 f1. to the W line of lands described in Doc. No. 897844 recorded in the office of the Winnebago County Register of Deeds; thence along said W line, N 00-55-43 W (recorded as N 01-14-50 W) for 173.02 f1.; thence N 72-21-10 E along the existing S right-of-way line of STH 21 for 74.05 f1.; thence along the right-of-way line of proposed Washburn S1. S 31-35-44 E for 100.51 f1.; thence N 81-50-06 E for 405.19 f1. to the W line of existing Washburn S1.; thence along said W line 162.44 f1. SEly along a 188.24 f1. radius curve, deflecting to the left, with a chord being S 70-48-48 E 157.44 f1.; thence continuing along said W line N 84-28-02 E for 89.31 f1. to the point of beginning. Immediately upon these amendments to the Official Map becoming effective, the City Clerk shall file a certificate with the Register of Deeds for Winnebago County showing that the City has amended its official map; and shall remove from the Official Map the obsolete map sheet and shall replace it with a copy of the map sheet attached hereto; the obsolete map sheet shall be retained by the City Clerk in a hard- bound folder and each sheet thereof marked to the effect that it was rescinded by action of the Common Council this date; the new sheet added to the Official Map shall be marked to the effect that the amended sheet was adopted by action of the Common Council of this date.
