Dear Mr. Walth:
A drive by inspection revealed an older model vehicle parked in the driveway on the
property at 217 Baldwin Street. Please be advised that Section 30-36 (A) of the City of Oshkosh
Zoning Ordinance requires that vehicles on residential lots be in condition for sate and effective
performance of the function for which they are designed, and that they display current license
plates. It would appear the vehicle on this property is not in compliance with the applicable
codes.
As a follow up to our phone conversation about repairing autos on this property, the
servicing or repair vehicles in an R-2 Two Family Residence District is not an allowed use, and
must cease immediately. Please be advised the property will be inspected again on or about April
23, 1999 and if vehicles are observed on the property at 217 Baldwin Street on or after April 23,
1999 that are not in compliance with the Ordinance, or ifvehicles are being repaired on the
property, violation correction notices may be issued in order to gain compliance with the City
codes.
