Hello Allyn,
The formula used to determine the concrete for the sign with multiple bases is as foilows:
W x H x C x P /6666 x B = Cu. Yds. per base
26 x 15.5 x 46.25 x 40 /6666 x 17 = 6.5 yrds. per footing
W = length of the sign
H = height of the sign
C = height from ground to center of the sign
P = windload (signs over 40' = 40 pounds per square foot)
B = distance belween the poles supporting the sign
