From: Sent: To: Subject: Noe, Brian Monday, March 25, 200210:01 AM Dannhoff, Allyn j, 135 High Street We had a call from the poiice department about this vacant buiiding being used by homeless people with cooking fires, and they were asking what can be done to have this buiiding torn down. I explained that you have orders on the building requiring it to be secured, I don't know if it is possible to have city crews secure the buiiding in the short term, and then issue raze orders to ultimately have the buiiding razed, According to the poiice the interior is unsafe with missing floor sections etc. I said since you had existing orders I would forward this complaint to you for follow up, I did have Bruce take photos of the exterior, they are in your mail box. In an effort to bring the property at 135 High Ave. into compliance and create a safe environment, I propose to accomplish the following within 30 days of the court appearance on 4/10102. 1) To secure exterior doors with keyed locks. 2) To clear debris from exterior of building. 3) To temporarily secure window openings with plywood sheeting. 4) To construct railings around stairwell openings and elevator openings. 5) To remove collapsed chimney, 6) To right roof vent. 7) To straighten rubber roof membrane. I appreciate your review of this proposal. If any part of this proposal is not in keeping with the needs of the city please contact me with any needs.
