Garage spaces shall be separated from the dwelling uIlif in accordiUicêWithILHJ{"21:08. .
The door aIld frame assembly between the dwelling unit aIldaIlatíachedgâiâge shalfbe
labeled by an independent testing agency as having a miIlimui:ll fire-resistive rating of 20
minutes. All drywall joints are required to be tapedlsealeduiilesšlfiêjôíiifš"âie'fitted so
that the gap is no more than a dimes thickness ( 1/20-inch) and backed by solid wood or
drywall with the joints staggered.

All penetrations in exterior walls must be sealed prior to the insillationinspection. This
includes holes in the top and bottom plates, gaps around heating ducts, and holes in the
return air spaces.

Smoke detect()rs¡¡re required on every floor and within 6' of all bedrooms. The smoke
detectors are required to be hardwired and interconnected.
5.
Hydromassage tubs are required to have an access paIlel to motor. The access paIlel must
be accessible.without removìng the fillish of the house.

All overfr8111ing must be designed by the truss manufacturer, according to staIldards set
by the truss plate institute, or structural calculations must beprovidedprioi to the rough
building inspection.

Truss plans must be submitted and approved prior to framing the roof.

Truss plans including thetruss layout must be provided on site at the rough building
inspection. In addition to the truss plans, microlam calculations must be proyidedonsité
at the rough building inspection for all micro lams with point loads on them.

Calculations 1l111stbe. provided for all cantilevered floors with point loads. Floor trusses
and TJI's must be designed for the cantilevered areas.

The property owner and applicant is responsible for compliance with ILHR 21.125
(Erosion Control). When installing access drives, a minimumof2" ~3" diameter stone is
required in addition to a minirnuttl of 6" depth, 30'-50' length, and 14'-20'. width. Erosion

All storm sewer inlets must be protected with approved erosion control devices. Tracking
(i.e. sediment) must be removed from the street at the end of each workday. Repair any
siltation or erosion clamage to adjoining surfaces and drainagewaysresulting from land

All mechanicals must be roughed in prior to requesting the rough buìlding inspection. If
on the inspection the mechanicals are not roughed in, theinspectlon WilifailaD.d a$10Õ
re"inspection fee will be charged.
Attached is a copy of the final inspection checklist. At thermal inspection all items on
thislistII)\I,stQec.o.mpleted to avoid the $100 re-inspection fee inspection.
When requesting final inspectiQns please note that a minimUl11 0(2. dfiYS notice is needed
, from the time the inspection is reooy. Furniture is only allowed to be placed in the center
garage floor and a minimum of a 3' pathway must be provided around the walls of
garage. At the fmal inspection no furniture or personal belongings are allowed in the
Appliances such as the' stove; refrigerator, washer, and dryer are not to be set in
to the eleçtrical inspector needing to look at the power serving the appliances.
