Dear Mr. Koch,
Enclosed you will find maps and surveys for the proposed home of Mr. Michael Zweiger,
at 1925 Hickory Lane, City of Oshkosh. This lot is located on the northeast side of the
city, backing up to a channel and harbor of Lake Winnebago.
Per the elevation survey enclosed and submitted site plan, the proposed single family
structure will be out of the 100 year flood ftinge. Mr. Zweiger wishes to construct a
basement for the home, with a walk out patio from the basement into the rear yard. My
concerns are based upon necessary elevations for the back yard area between the walk out
basement and the 100 year flood line, in order to prevent the flood waters from running
down to theslope and into the basement. Mr. Zweiger has indicated that the lot is
currently lower than the adjacent properties, and will be filled to match the filling that
occurred on the abutting properties. The area between the 100 year flood line and the
rear of the residence will be filled to an elevation l' above the regional flood elevation,
up to the slope for the walk out patio, per the submitted plan.
Please take a look at the maps and surveys, and let me know if you have any concerns
