Every outlet and fixture shall be properly installed and maintained in a good and safe working condition and shall be connected
0 the source of the electric power in a safe manner. All living units shall be provided with safe and adequate electrical
acilities, fixtures & wiring. Adequate numbers of electrical receptacles/fixtures are required to prevent extension cord use.

hen electrical equipment is found to be to be unsafe or dangerous to persons or property, the person owning or using such
quipment shall remove or cause to be removed or make any changes or repairs determined by the Electrical Inspector. At
least one 20-amp branch circuit shall be provided to supply bathroom receptacle outlet(s) in accordance with NEC
10.11 (C)(3). Such circuits shall have no other outlets. Boiler room light fixture to be removed, see photos page 4.

It is the responsibility of every property owner to confirm compliance with these orders before the compliance date as specified
nd return the signed confirmation. Failure to comply may result in citations being issued and/or the rooming house license
eing suspended.
Violations must be corrected and approved within 30 days unless otherwise noted. Call for reinspections prior to concealment
and/or occupancy- Upon completing the corrections, the owner/contractor/agent must sign and date at the bottom of this notice
and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 12/1/05
Office hours for obtaining permits are Monday through Friday 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m. or by appointment. To schedule
inspections please call the Inspection Request line at 236-5128 noting the address, permit number (when applicable), and the
nature of what needs to be inspected.
