Bruce,
My intentions and schedule are as follows:
I have 2 painters looking at the house today, and will schedule which ever one can do it before the
middle of June (weather/temp permitting).
I had a contractor look at the issues with the porches and indicated new floor boards where needed
and railing replaced, with some infastructure to be replaced, and rain flashing installed to differ rain
water to the outer edge of porch to prevent future damage. Scrapping and repair to the areas
already damaged on the arch of the porch. Replace missing wood on side door over hang. All new
surfaces to be painted at time of house painting.
1. Debris, garbage, car part and furniture and misc wood behind carriage house remove today
OS/20/05. Proper garbage receptic1es will be provided and intructions given to tenants regarding
location to store garbage. Items on front porch to be removed.
2. Pull appropriate permits for maintainance to front and rear porch areas today OS/20/05 between
12:30 and 1:30.
3. Contractor to comence repairs after approved permits issued and painter to scrap and paint all
new surfaces as well as the rest of the original homes exterior surfaces, and carriage house
surfaces.
4. To have a reinspection done by July 15th of all issues note in correction notice if that is
acceptable to you. Please contact me asap if it is not.
If there is anything that I have left out, it is not intentional and anything that is discovered will also
be corrected. My goal is to own a house that is maintained and has the city's approval to it's
standards as well as adds to area property values, not lower them.

I am responding to the correction notice issued 5/16/05 for 820 Jackson St. My address of
record was not updated with your office and I am responding to as of my first knowledge of
the corrections needed. I left you a message 5/20/05 late in the day, and stopped by your
office to confirm my new contact info and intending on seeing you. I do not disagree with
any of the noted issues, and it is my intention to correct immediately all items to the
correct standards. I had already begun late last year getting quotes for the exterior painting
of the house and carriage house. I would like to set a time to get some clarification on what
is acceptable or expected, I would also like to know exactly what the descriptions mean in
terms of action needed. Please return my call so that I remain compliant to the dates.
The points I need to discuss with you are as follows:
1. I need to request an extension on the OS/23/05 items.
2. I want to know what is meant by"all violations may not have been
photographed. "
