Preliminary Project Coordination
Dear Mr. Erickson:
I am providing some preliminary project data' and my coordination proposals for the project for your
information and for your concurrence prior. to completing the stormwater management plan and
gr(lding/drainage plan.
WDNR/WDOC Notice of Intent
I will be proposing that this project is a "redevelopment", since the proposed impervious area is very
similar (within the intent of "redevelopment") to the existing. This will eliminate the need. for any
detention (per WDNR), eliminate the need to consider infiltration for storm water, and reduce the water
quality requirements ITom 80% to 40%.
City of Oshkosh - Stormwater Mana2:ement
The proposed project site limits are under 3 acres and the proposed impervious area is less than 50%. As a
result, this should eliminate the need for any detention and any runoff control (per City Code Section 24-
10).

Yesterday afternoon I got a call from Scott Erickson, City of Oshkosh, concurring with my proposal of "not needing
detention". He also said that the city did not want the stormwater runoff to go to the city streets and that we should
not have the driveways drain directly out to the street.
Alii need now is the "final" site plan to complete my civil design. I have emailed Brad - Watertech and Mike-
CRM, but have not heard back if I have the latest/final version.

This Jetter acknowledges receipt of a Notice of Intent with our agency.
By virtue of the owner's signature on the apphcation form, he/she has indicated that an erosion control plan and a
long-term stormwater management plan meeting the requirements set forth in NR216.46 and 216.47, respectively
have been developed and wi1l be implemented.
Please note:
1. That earth disturbing activities shall not begin before 14 days after you submitted the signed Notice ofIntent
application to our agency.
2. That there wi1l be no review conducted by the Department of Commerce of the erosion control or the general
stormwater management plans for this project. However, plan submittal may be required for anystormwater
piping system on the premises and any stormwater infiltration or reuse systems per s. Comm 92.20.
3. That there may be erosion control inspections conducted by the Department of Commerce during the
construction of this project.
4. The owner shall retain the above mentioned erosion control stormwater management plan on the construction
site and make it available to state and/or local inspectors as requested.
5.
That plan review and/or inspections by the local municipality and/ or DNR may be required by local permitting
ordinances or DNR rules.
The owner shall file a Notice of Termination with our department when the site has been stabiJjzed per NR
216.55.
