Introduction
An inspection of your rental property following a complaint by the City of Oshkosh Police Dept. revealed the following violations
of the Oshkosh Minimum Housing Code which shall be corrected by the compliance dates specified for each item. As you can

While reviewing the file for this property it was noted that the residential non-conforming use was vacated due to the property
being vacant. The apartments located on the 2nd floor of this building were not approved for occupancy. In discussing this
ith the zoning department they noted that this property has lost it's ability to have residential units located on the 2nd floor.
his property can only be used as Commercial and is required to comply with all regulations such as parking, etc.

therwise unfit for human habitation and unreasonable to repair, order the owner of the building to raze the building, or if the
uilding can be made safe by reasonable repairs, order the owner to either make the building safe and sanitary or to raze the
uilding, at the owne~s option.

þrchitect or engineer. I would also suggest you discuss your plans with David Buck in the Planning department to see if your

It is the responsibility of every property owner to confirm compliance with these orders before the compliance date as specified
nd return the signed confirmation. This premises is unfit for human habitation, occupancy or use, and shall not be occupied
s residential use. It is this office's opinion that this structure should be razed as it appears that repairs would exceed 50% of
he assessed value of the structure.
Violations must be corrected and approved within 30 days unless otherwise noted. Call for reinspections prior to concealment
and/or occupancy. Upon completing the corrections, the owner/contractor/agent must sign and date at the bottom of this notice
and return it to the Inspection Services Division by the Compliance Date of 11/19/05
Office hours for obtaining permits are Monday through Friday 7:30-8:30 a.m. and 12:30-1 :30 p.m. or by appointment. To schedule
inspections please call the Inspection Request line at 236-5128 noting the address, permit number (when applicable), and the
nature of what needs to be inspected.
