The submittal described above has been reviewed for conformance with applicable Wisconsin Administrative Codes and
Wisconsin Statutes. The submittal has been CONDITIONALLY APPROVED. The owner, as defined in Chapter
101.01 (1 0), Wisconsin Statutes, is. responsible for compliance with all.code requirements

ANSI 303.4 Changes in level greater than Yz inch shall be ramped in compliance with Section 405 or 406.
mc 711.3 Any penetrations of fire rated assemblies are required to be protected with a listed firestopping
system that matches the rating of the wall assembly being penetrated. Copies of the firestopping systems
are required to be provided at the time of inspection.
mc 906.1/ IFC 906.3 The maximum travel distance allowed to a fire extinguisher is 75 feet.
IBC 1003.2.2.5 Posting of occupant load. Every room or space that is an assembly occupancy shall have
the occupant load of the room or space posted in a conspicuous place, near the main exit access doorway
!Tom the room or space. Posted signs shall meet the requirement ofmooicipal code section 13-5. Min 12
inches in length, min 4 inches in height with min Yz inch lettering and the numbers being minimum 3
inches in height. The sign shall state "Limit (number) Persons".

IBC 1003.2.11 Means of egress illumination is required to be installed per this section

on plans a bottled water cooler is required to be provided.
IFC 304.3 Containers. Combustible rubbish and waste material kept within a structure shall be stored in
accordance with Sections 304.3.1 through 304.3.3.

IFC 304.3.3 Capacity exceeding 1.5 cubic yards. Dumpsters and containers with an individual capacity
of 1.5 cubic yards or more shall not be stored in buildings or placed within 5 feet of combustible walls,
openings, or combustible roof eve lines.
Comm 61.30(3) 1 IMC 507.2 This plan review does not include heating, ventilation, or air
conditioning. HV AC plans are required to be submitted and approved prior to installation ofHV AC
equipment. Be aware that IBC 1004.3.2.4 contains additional restriction for air movement in corridors
Comm 61.31(4) Revisions to approved plans. All proposed revisions and modifications which involve
rules ooder this code and which are made to construction documents that have previously been granted
approval by the department or its authorized representative, shall be submitted to the office that granted the
approval. All revisions and modifications to plans shall be approved in writing by the department or its
authorized representative prior to the work involved in the revision or modification being carried out. A
revision or modification to a plan, drawing or specification shall be signed and sealed in accordance with
Comm61.31(1).
MUN 30-35 (1)(5) All rooftop and ground level mechanical equipment and utilities shall be fully screened

place to resist wind loads. Additionally IBC 1608.8 Roofprojections - Drift loads due to mechanical
equipment, penthouses, parapets and other projections above the roof shall be determined in accordance
with Section 7.8 of ASCE 7.
MUN 15 NOTE: Contact Anne Boyce - Health Services (920) 236-5029 for additional information as to
Health code requirements. Preliminary review indicates the need for an additional hand wash sink in
new bar area.
Comm 161 NEC Article 518. Be aware of additional wiring requirements for an assembly area.
SUBMIT:
IBC 1003.2.11 Means of egress illumination is required to be installed per this section. All paths of egress
through The Retail Display area are required to have adequate emergency lighting to meet the performance
requirements ofIBC 1003.2.11.3. Provide complete emergency lighting plan showing compliance with
these requirements prior to installation of emergency lighting system.
. Comm 61.50 (4) Supervision. Prior to the initial occupancy of an alteration the supervising professional
shall file a compliance statement form SBD-9720 with this office.
A copy of the approved plans, specifications, and this letter shall be on-site during construction. All permits are required to
be obtained prior to commencement of work.
In granting this approval the City of Oshkosh Inspection Services Department reserves the right to require changes or
additions should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12(2), nothing in this
review shall relieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building, structure, or component.
