The complainant stated the following: The house was abandoned. Basement/Crawlspac~ was flooded in June of 2004. The person living there moved out due to the water damage to the structure, Grass was over 8" House appears to be buckled in the center Rodents entering/exiting the house through holes that area open to the crawlspace area Water service to the house was turned off at the sidewalk No electrical service to the house May31,2005 Pictures were taken and are enclosed. June 6, 2005 Raze/Repair Notice processed. This dwelling has been abandoned since June of 2004, It is evident that there is structural deterioration and/or failures that are present due to the flooding. It would appear ITom the pictures that the owner has not attempted to make any corrections to the dwelling- Therefore, I am requesting approval to have this raze /repair notice sent to get the owners to take action on this property, If the owners decide to repair the dwelling an interior inspection will be required. The arrow indicates where the house has buckled. A hole is present at the front of the house that extends under the structure. This area is open to rodent infestation. It appears that the flooding eroded this area of the foundation. Taken by Nicole Krahn 641 W 8th Ave 5-31-051 Numerous cracks present in the exterior of the dwelling. The exterior facade is cracking and breaking off the structure due to settling.
