Box 1130 Oshkosh, W;sconson 54902-1130 City of Oshkosh ~ QlHKOJH September 12, 1996 Robert Doemel 1922 Oak Street Oshkosh, VVI 54901 RE: Northwest Comer of Hickory Lane and East Murdock Avenue Dear Mr. Doemel: This letter is a follow-up to our meeting of August 29, 1996, at the above referenced location. We walked the site together and I identified several boats and boat trailers as well as at least six unlicensed vehicles. Additionally, the site was cluttered with junk and debris as well as large construction equipment, including flat bed trailers, a bulldozer, and semi-tractor trailers. Please be advised that the site in question is zoned R-l Single Family Residence with permitted uses in this area being of a residential nature only. The above identified junk, debris, equipment, vehicles, and materials are not allowed in an R-l Single Family Residence district and must be removed immediately It is my understanding that on August 5, 1996, a Wrecking Permit was issued to you for removal of a building on this site. Please keep in mind, you are allowed to have equipment and material on-site which is necessary for the razing of the building. However, all other vehicles, equipment, junk and debris must be removed from the site. At this meeting you agreed to remove all unlicensed vehicles, boats and boat trailers, and miscellaneous junk and debris and also to move the bulldozer to another location not located in the City of Oshkosh by September 15, 1996. You also indicated that the remainder of the site would be cleaned up no later than September 30, 1996. I will reinspect the site in question on or about September 15, 1996, for conformation that the unlicensed vehicles, boats, and boat trailer have been removed. If this has not been achieved, a citation will be issued for violation of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance. Additionally I will reinspect the site on or about September 30, 1996, to insure that the remainder of the site has been cleaned up. Again, if this has not been accomplished a citation will be issued for violation of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance. Page 2 Robert Doemel September 12,1996 As a reminder, as I am sure you realize, you were found guilty of this same violation in May of 1989, by the Circuit Court of Winnebago County. It is important to note to avoid additional legal action, including substantial fines, your cooperation within the prescribed timeframe is imperative. . If you have any question in this regard, please feel free to contact me at 236-5059. Sincerely, ~ép-- Principal City Planner cc Allyn Dannhoff, Chief Building Inspector
