IBC 711.3 Any penetrations of fire rated assemblies are required to be protected with a listed firestopping system that matches the rating ofthe wall assembly being penetrated. Copies of the firestopping systems are required to be provided at the time of inspection. IRC 901.2 Fire protection systems shall be installed, repaired, operated and maintained in accordance with this code and the international fire code.
