The property owner and applicant is responsible for compliance with ILHR 21.125

All störrh sewer inlets must be protected with approved erosion control devices. Tracking

siltation or erosipn <lanwge to adjoining surfaces and dIainageways resulting from land
development or disturbing activities.
The building placard must be posted on site at all times. Once the rough framing is up
the placard must be posted on the patio door or on a kitchen window. If the placard is not
present at any inspection, stop work orders will be posted. Additional placards can be
obtained through our department if the cards are misplaced.
All mechanicals must be roughed in prior to requesting the rough building inspection. If
on the inspection the mechanicals are npt roughed in, the inspection will fail and a $100
re-inspection fee will be charged.
Attached is acopy of the final inspection checklist. At the final inspection all items pn
this list must be completed to avoid the $100 re-inspectionfee per inspection.
When requesting final inspections please note that a minimum of2 days notice is needed
from the time the inspection is ready. Furniture is only allowed to be placed in the center
of the garage floor and a minimum of a 3' pathway must be provided around the walls of
the garage. At the final inspection no furniture or personal belongings are allowed in the
house. Appliances such as the stove, refrigerator, washer, and dryer are not to be set in
place due to the electric¡¡linspector needing to look at the power serving the appliances.
A 6' stepladder must be on site at the final inspection to provide access to the attic.
The building placard must remain on the patio door or on a kitchen window until
occupancy is approved. Occupancy is not allowed prior to the placard having all of the
