HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-274 A&D.doc SEPTEMBER 13, 2005 05-274 A&D RESOLUTION (APPROVED LOST LAID OVER 6-0 WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: GRANT CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS; APPROVE FINAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS: A) 2010 JACKSON STREET D) 545 HIGH AVENUE & 218 WISCONSIN STREET INITIATED BY: DUMKE MANAGEMENT, ETAL, OWNERS HIWISCA, OWNER A) D) PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: All found consistent with Standards set forth in Section 30-11 (0) of the Zoning Ordinance and approved w/conditions as noted BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that conditional use permits are hereby granted for the following properties under Section 30-11 of the Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance, and that said permits are granted with conditions, if any, as noted for each respective property, and the Planned District Overlay and final development plans, per the attached exhibits, are hereby approved. A) 2010 Jackson Street; Dumke Management, etal, owners A conditional use permit for construction of a pylon sign for a previously approved planned commercial development, per the attached "Exhibit A", with the following conditions: 1 ) 2) 3) 4) Overall sign height is limited to 20 feet from finished grade. Pylon enclosure materials to match exterior materials on the principal structure. Department of Community Development to approve materials prior to construction. Pylons to be centered on the required setback line from Viola Avenue. West edge of the sign to encroach no closer than 22 ft. from the Jackson Street right-of-way. Replace the overstory tree being displaced by the sign's location with final relocation to be approved by the Department of Community Development. Landscaping is to be placed around the base of the sign, in beds, with final landscaping to be approved by the Department of Community Development. 5) 6) D) 545 High Avenue & 218 Wisconsin Street; HIWISCA, owner A conditional use permit for rehabilitation of an existing structure at 545 High Ave. and reconstruction of the parking lots at 545 High Avenue and 218 Wisconsin Avenue, both properties being within a planned commercial development area, per the attached "Exhibit D", with the following conditions: SEPTEMBER 13, 2005 05-274 A&D RESOLUTION CONT'D 1 ) The existing building at 545 High Avenue be considered a conforming structure with regard to its existing setbacks and allowed structural improvements exceeding 50% of the assessed value of the life of the structure. The reconstruction of the parking lots be allowed as proposed with a minimum 5 foot setback be required along the east property line. Setback area is to be landscaped as approved by the Department of Community Development. Any parking lot lighting provided be consistent with lighting in the redevelopment area and be approved by the Department of Community Development. Screening of mechanical equipment on the east elevation be approved by the Department of Community Development. Trash enclosure is permitted in the proposed location with materials used for the enclosure to be approved by the Department of Community Development.
