The submittal described above has been reviewed for conformance with applicable Wisconsin Adnrinistrative Codes and
Wisconsin Statutes. The submittal has been CONDITlONALL Y APPROVED. The owner, as defined in Chapter
101.01(10), Wisconsin Statutes, is responsible for compliance with all code requirements
NOTE: - The top side of the ceiling framing will not be sheeted, and the area above the offices is NOT TO BE USED FOR
STORAGE! Revised plans are required to be submitted for review prior to this area being used for storage, or any .
eqnipment being placed in this location.
SUBMIT:
. mc 1003.2.11 Means of egress illumination is required to be installed per this section. Provide complete
emergency lighting plan showing compliance with these requirements prior to installation of
emergency lighting system.
. Comm 62.2900 Additional criteria for toilets. (2) Service sink. In every building where a service sink
is required by mc Table 2902.1, the service sink shall be located in a service closet or room that is
provided with the supplies necessary for the sanitary upkeep of the toilet rooms. Provide plans showing
where this will be located - note mechanical code requires exhaustfor this space.
. Comm 61.50 (4) Supervision. Prior to the initial occupancy of an alteration the supervising professional
shall file a compliance statement form SBD-9720 with this office.

mc 1003.2.11 Means of egress illumination is required to be installed per this section. All paths of egress
are required to have adequate emergency lighting to meet the performance requirements of IBC
1003.2.11.3. Existing means of egress emergency lighting is permitted to be maintained in compliance
with the code in effect at the time of construction. Any altered path of egress, or new path of egress,
and any new emergency lighting being installed is required to comply with current code requirements.

IBC 1004.2.3.1 Where more than one tenant occupies anyone floor of a building or structure, each tenant
space shall be provided with access tp the required exits without passing through adjacent tenant spaces.
Comm 62.1104 Accessible route. (I) Site arrival points. Accessible routes within the site shall be
provided from public transportation stops, accessible parking and accessible passenger loading zones, and
public streets or sidewalks to the accessible building entrance served. Plans indicate area immediately
outside door is being paved - verify that route continues as required.
mc 1209.1 Provide toilet room floors with smooth, hard, nonabsorbent surface extending minimum 6
inches up onto walls.
IFC 304.3 Containers. Combustible rubbish and waste material kept within a structure shall be stored in
accordance with Sections 304.3.1 through 304.3.3.
IFC 304.3.3 Capacity exceeding 1.5 cubic yards. Dumpsters and containers with an individual capacity
of 1.5 cubic yards or more shall not be stored in buildings or placed within 5 feet of combustible walls,
openings, or combustible roof eve lines.
Comm 61.30(3) 1 IMC 507.2 This plan review does not include heating, ventilation, or air
conditioning. HV AC plans are required to be submitted and approved prior to installation ofHV AC
equipment. Buildingplans indicate hydronic heat, be aware that min 1.5 air change rate is requiredfor
office space.
Comm 61.31(4) Revisions to approved plans. All proposed revisions and modifications which involve
rules under this code and which are made to construction documents that have previously been granted
approval by the department or its authorized representative, shall be submitted to the office that granted the
approval. All revisions and modifications to plans shall be approved in writing by the department or its
antborized representative prior to the work involved in the revision or modification being carried out. A
revision or modification to a plan, drawing or specification shall be signed and sealed in accordance with
Comm 61.31(1).
A copy of the approved plans, specifications, and this letter shall be on-site during construction. All permits are required to
be obtained prior to commencement of work.
In granting this approval the City of Oshkosh Inspection Services Department reserves the right to require changes or
additions should conditions arise making them necessary for code compliance. As per state stats 101.12(2), nothing in this
review shall relieve the designer of the responsibility for designing a safe building, structure, or component.
