BILLS It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be approved for payment. 2. WEDNESDAY FARMERS MARKET Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Wednesday Farmers Market to utilize the north end of the Jefferson Street parking lot every Wednesday, from September 14 through October 26, 2005, from 6:30 a.m. to 1 :00 p.m., to hold their Wednesday Farmers Market, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 3. BLOCK PARTY Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Graber Street to close Graber Street, between Murdock Avenue and Cliffview Drive, on Saturday, October 1,2005, from 4:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight, for their neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached Block Party Request Form. ORANGE BLOSSOM DRIVE 4. Request permission to grant approval to the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 437 of Oshkosh to conduct their annual Orange Blossom Drive on Friday and Saturday, October 14 and 15, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in accordance with the attached letter of request. 5. HOLIDAY PARADE Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce to utilize city streets and facilities on Saturday, November 12,2005, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., for the 23rd Annual Oshkosh Holiday Parade, in accordance with the attached letter of request. . BLOCK PARTY Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Arcadia Avenue to close Arcadia Avenue, from Heritage Trail to Westhaven Drive, on Saturday, September 24,2005, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., for their neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached Block Party Request Form. . Closing of a street for such a party should not adversely impact any of the street's residents. The timeframe for the street closure should fall sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., must be affirmed by the Oshkosh Common Council, and be based upon a recommendation from the City Manager.
