WISPIRG EVENT Request permission to grant approval to the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group to utilize Opera House Square and facilities on Friday, July 15, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for an event to raise awareness of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 3. BLOCK PARTY Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Covington Drive to close Covington Drive, from Allerton to Thornton, on Saturday, July 16, 2005, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for a neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached Block Party Request Form. 4. BLOCK PARTY Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Evans Street to close Evans Street, from East Irving Avenue to East Lincoln Avenue, on Saturday, August 6, 2005 (rain date August 13th), from 12:00 noon to 11:00 p.m., for a neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached letter of request and Block Party Request Form. 5. ST. RAPHAEL'S 5K RUN/WALK/SKATE 6. There will be speakers, an inflatable oil rig prop (~8'xl0'), and a few guests. We do not expect more than 30 people. The event will not require speakers and therefore will not be loud, but there will be a generator that will require an electrical outlet. The area we would like to use is the shore of Millers Bay, North of New York Ave to the Break Water at the end of Menominee Drive. The Otter Street Fishing Club will coordinate the final details of this event with the Oshkosh Parks DIrector, Mr. Tom Stephany, and Sergeant Tim Bakri of the Oshkosh City Police Department.
