AVE OSHKOSH WI 54902 November 2, 2005 Re: Front Entrance Roof Structure Dear Ms. Brisbane; Please accept my apologies for the delay in addressing the previously noted concern regarding the roof structure over your front entrance landing. As you will recall, a concern was raised because the roof structure did not meet the Zoning District Setback standards. Having reviewed tills situation with the Planning Services Division, a decision was made to allow the roof structure to exist because it does not project any further than the metal awning it replaced. This decision is made subject to the following condition: The entrance landing/porch cannot be enclosed with walls as tills would represent an addition to the house that would not meet the Zoning District Setback standards. In the future, please verify your contractor has secured the required permits prior to commencing any construction activity. Tills situation would have been avoided had your contractor applied for and secured the required permit prior to commencing construction.
