GENTLEMEN: A recent inspection of the single family residence
at 1408 W. 3rd Avenue, Oshkosh
discloses violations of the following sections of the General
Ordinances of the City of Oshkosh.
SECTION
LOCATION & NEEDED CORRECTIONS
Sec. 7-53
The west wall of the garage requires a double top
plate which should lap at the corners.
Sec. 7-51 (e)
Openings not wider than 4 feet in exterior walls
and in interior partitions require a header of

Studs should be placed not more than 16 inches
on center.
This refers to framing around chimney,

framing in west wall of lower bathroom, and

Plywood sheathing on the south of the garage and
around fireplace in northwest corner should have
nails spaced no more than 6 inches on the edges

stairway should extend tightly from sole plate
