April 8, 2026

A. Call to Order/Roll Call
Chairman Perry called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, and a quorum was declared
present.
B. Consent Agenda
1. Approve minutes from the March 17, 2026 Plan Commission meeting
Motion by Propp to approve the minutes from the March 17, 2026 Plan Commission meeting.
Second by Buelow.
Motion carried 6-0.
C. Items Removed from Consent Agenda
None.
D. Regular Agenda
2. Review and make a recommendation on a petition for Direct Annexation by Unanimous
Approval – Mellenthin Annexation from the Town of Oshkosh, 2732 Jackson Street, Parcel
018020001
Site Inspections: Buelow and Scheuermann reported visiting the site.
Staff report accepted as part of the record.
Mr. Nielsen presented the staff report and recommended approval. Chairman Perry opened the floor for
technical questions to staff. He wondered if this would create an island. Mr. Nielsen stated that it would
not and discussed the surrounding area.
Chairman Perry opened public comment and asked whether the applicant wished to make a statement.
The applicant/owner was present but did not make a statement. Chairman Perry then asked whether any
members of the public wished to speak. Hearing none, he closed public comment.
Motion by Propp to recommend approval of the agenda item and adopt the findings and recommendation
as stated in the staff report.
Second by Davey.
Motion carried 6-0.
