1. MENOMINEE PARK TRAIN AVAILABLE VIA AUCTION: The amusement train from
the City of Oshkosh’s Menominee Park is now available for sale via auction. More than
equipment, this vintage train is a cherished part of Oshkosh’s community story. For years,
it was a familiar attraction at Menominee Park, creating lasting memories for children and
families who enjoyed the ride as a part of their park experience. Now, its availability
presents a unique opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to own a notable piece of
amusement and local history.
Those interested in learning more and potentially offering a bid on the train should visit
the City of Oshkosh’s auction website, Osh-Buy. Please note that new users will be asked to
register for an account, which also allows you to be notified of bid opportunities in any
Osh-Buy category. Bidding on this item ends at 8pm on April 12th. Whether you remember
riding the train yourself or simply appreciate history amusement attractions, don’t miss
this opportunity to help an Oshkosh favorite begin its next chapter!
