For the 2026 budget, the City Manager’s office took an approach that provides efficient, effective services; makes key strategic investments for the future and decreases the city property tax rate. The 2026 budget keeps the tax levy flat, reduces the city property tax rate and implements efficiencies to help deliver the same high-quality services residents expect for less – including police, fire and EMS; economic development; garbage and recycling collection; high-quality parks and roads. You can also provide written comments prior to the hearing by emailing citymgr@oshkoshwi.gov. BUDGET ADOPTION Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 6 p.m. The Common Council will vote to adopt the proposed 2026 budget.
