1. Recommend Advise on methods to increase native plantings in the City of
Oshkosh.
a. Chapter 26 - Construction projects - Tree Protection Zones
b. Update, post, and promote Native Planting brochure
c. Chapter 30 – Landscaping points for native and nonnative species
d. Advise Departments on lawn mowing reduction, native species and
invasive species management.
e. Increase percentage of tree canopy cover.
2. Provide (what form/what platform?) and measure (how/what methods?) public
education on sustainability initiatives.
a. Farmer’s Markets
b. Stormwater Utility Credit Application – Review/update
c. Neighborhood Associations
d. Hosting public speakers
e. Printed communication
f. Other media sources
3. Recommend three initiatives from the Oversee implementation of the
Comprehensive Energy Plan.
4. Participate in the drafting Oversee completion of the Oshkosh Sustainability
Plan.
5. Review Create 2026 Green Tier Legacy annual report.
a. SAB would like to see what progress the City of Oshkosh makes on an
annual basis.
