ITEM 3: Approve Land Disposition of Vacant Property Located on the East Side of
Compass Way, South of Meadow Park Drive (Southwest Industrial Park)
Applicant/Owner: City of Oshkosh
Action Requested: Kingsbury LLC are requesting approval to purchase the vacant
property located on the East Side of Compass Way, South of Meadow Park Drive (CSM
8313)
Property Location and Background Information: The subject property included in the
request consists of a single lot with approximately 34.294 acres. The site is zoned Heavy
Industrial with a Planned Development Overlay (HI-PD). In 2023 the City acquired the
land with the intent to market it for industrial development The immediate surrounding
area is mostly vacant, with industrial uses to the east and west, as well as a stormwater
management pond to the south. The 2040 Comprehensive Plan recommends Industrial
uses for the subject area.

Analysis: The applicant (City of Oshkosh) is requesting disposition of the subject
property as the buyer (Kingsbury LLC) plans to construct a new, 120,000 square-foot
facility at this site. Staff does not have concerns with disposition of this subject property
as this area is intended for future industrial/manufacturing growth as part of the
Southwest Industrial Park.
