Dear Bill:
The City will grant approval for the placement of the temporary modular facility at 3300 Medalist Drive
with the condition that the facility may not be located on the site for a period exceeding one year from
its placement.
A permit will be required through the Inspection Services Division. Please coordinate the permit work
with Director of Inspections, Mr. Allyn Dannhoff at 236-5050.

Dear Mr. Kinney-
I am writing to formally request approval to erect a temporary, modularfacility at 3300
Medalist Drive.
As explained in our meeting on November 9, 2004,the temporary space is necessary to
provide immediate office space for relocating and new employees while we pursue a
permanent solution.
We anticipate having the modular unit ready for occupancy by year end. The current plan
is to locate the building adjacent to the high bay portion of the manufacturing building.
The unit will not be on site for more than 1 year.
We sincerely appreciate the city's support as we continue to grow our business in North
America.

Enclosed is the sketched copy of the site plan for GE Oil & Gas. Parking will be in the
present storage area at the south end of the site. The building will be 45 feet off our drive
and meet all set backs.
