RE: 2800 Newport
Seeing Public Works is ok, go ahead an issue the permit if it meets the basic zoning provisions.

As we discussed, the owner of this property is asking if they can obtain the permit for the pool they want to build in
their rear yard where there is / was a storm drainage easement. If they bring in the site plan are we able to issue
the permit?
They tell me they spoke with you, and public works and that everything has been taken care of. Please confirm as
I don't want to have them come in only to be sent away, if something need to be done prior to a permit being
issued.

RE: 2800 Newport
Darryn- This is part of the location that the PC recently gave a variance for Tom Rusch. We have all gotten em ails talking
about the need to put the PC requirements in deed restrictions & the future developer agreement for Mr. Rusch. You need
to decide if you want to issue the permit. I told the resident that I did not see a problem with issuing a building permit
because I assume the proper paperwork will eventually be completed by Mr. Rusch. I don't know what approval you are
talking about from the Common Council. dcp

Please review Brian's comments and let us know whether a permit can be issued. The variance has been approved
by the Common Council. I don't recall ever speaking with this property owner.
