1. LIBRARY OPENS LATE ON SEPTEMBER 15TH: Oshkosh Public Library will open at
noon on Monday, September 15th, instead of our usual 9 a.m. start, as we begin some
exciting building improvements.
We’re installing modular glass walls in two areas of the library as part of a larger effort to
refresh the Teen Zone on the first floor and create a new JobPod on the second floor. The
JobPod will be a self-contained space offering reliable resources and services from the
Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development to help job seekers.
This phase of the project is expected to finish by September 26th, and no additional closures
are planned. During installation, there may be some noise and limited access to materials,
but our staff will help you find what you need. Please watch our Facebook page for
updates.
