RE: Notice of Termination of Intergovernmental Agreement for Parking Purposes
To Whom This May Concern:
The City of Oshkosh herein exercises its right to terminate the parties’ Intergovernmental Agreement
for Parking Purposes dated August 25, 2004. A copy of the Agreement is enclosed and the termination
is subject to paragraph number 5.
All terms of the Agreement will remain in effect through the ninety (90) day notice period. All
enforcement and appeals processes for tickets written by UWO before the termination of this
Agreement will continue to be the obligation of UWO, even if occurring after the ninety (90) day notice
period. All payments for tickets written by UWO before the termination of this Agreement will
continue to belong to UWO, even if paid after the ninety (90) day notice period.
Over the course of this Agreement, UWO has placed parking-related signs on the City’s poles. Such
signage may remain through the ninety (90) day notice period but shall be removed immediately after
the termination date so the City can reuse the poles. UWO’s display stations may remain through the
ninety (90) day notice period but shall be removed immediately after the termination date. If signs
and/or display stations are not immediately removed by UWO, the City will consider them abandoned
and the City will remove them and dispose at the City’s expense. If UWO wishes to keep any sign or
display station, then UWO must take all necessary actions to remove them.
The Agreement is terminated ninety (90) days after this notice is provided to you. Notice will be
considered to have been provided to you five (5) business days after this notice is mailed via 1st Class
Mail, or on the date identified on the return receipt for the certified mail, whichever is earlier. The
Agreement will no longer be in effect on the ninety-first (91st) day after notice has been provided to
you.
