Oshkosh,VVl54901 Dear City Manager, The residents of Laager Lane have planned our annual block party for Saturday, September 4, 2004. This neighborhood event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm and in past years have ended just after sunset. Because of the number of children on our street and the events planned, it is our request to have the entrances to Laager Lane from Knapp Street and Orchard Lane barricaded during the time of the party. As Laager Lane is not a major thoroughfare, we feel it would be much safer for the residents - especially the children - and will not disrupt major traffic flow. If you have any questions or need any further information, please feel free to contact me at the above number. VVe look forward to receiving a positive response to our request and the city's provision of barricades to block the street on Saturday, September 4, 2004. Sincerely, Ant ny R.
