RE: Weekly Newsletter
1. DRINKING WATER QUALITY REPORT: Each year, the Water Utility is required to
provide a drinking water quality report, Consumer Confidence Report, to the entire city.
This report provides information to our customers about the regulation of drinking water,
regulatory standards, the source and treatment of the water supply, health information,
sources of potential contaminants, and monitoring data summarizing water quality data.
A notice stating the availability of the report will be included with all of the June utility bills.
A paper copy may be requested by calling (920) 232-5325. Please press zero (0) to speak with
someone. Copies of the Consumer Confidence Report are also available outside of Rooms
106 and 301 at City Hall and at the Oshkosh Public Library.
The results for 2023 were within the expected ranges from all previously-collected data.
Much of the data in the report has been part of the drinking water quality testing program
for years and the City’s Water Utility has had an excellent record of meeting and exceeding
all regulatory drinking water requirements.
Please note, customers may receive multiple notices about the report. The City is required
to notify customers by each of the customer’s selected methods to receive a bill and/or make
a payment.
If you have any questions regarding this information, please contact Assistant Director of
Public Works / Utilities General Manager, Steve Gohde.

5. LIBRARY HOSTS CLIMB THEATER FOR FAMILY PERFORMANCE: Families looking
for a fun and refreshing activity to beat the summer heat are invited to Oshkosh Public
Library for an engaging performance of Country Mouse, City Mouse: Adventures in the
Suburbs presented by CLIMB Theatre. On Tues., July 2nd at 2:00 p.m. this enchanting tale will
come to life in the library’s Lower Level Children’s Department.
Join the lovable mouse cousins as they embark on their latest adventure to the suburbs where
Country Mouse wants to explore the new area while City Mouse just wants to relax with a
good book. Will conflict tear apart their relationship, or will they learn to compro-mice and
celebrate their differences? Through lively storytelling and relatable examples, young
audiences will not only be entertained but learn valuable lessons about empathy and
advocating for their own needs. This half-hour interactive performance is tailored for kids
aged 10 and younger, although all children are welcome to attend alongside their grownups.
Founded in 1975, CLIMB Theatre’s mission is to inspire and propel people towards acts that
benefit themselves, others and their community. For more information about this event and
other library programs, visit climb.org or oshkoshpubliclibrary.org.
