PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved
A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30-
16(B) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ZONING DISTRICTS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 30-16(B) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to
Zoning Districts and the map therein described is hereby amended by changing the
district character of the following described area from R-2 Two Family with a Planned
Development Overlay, R-5 Multiple Dwelling, M-2 Central Industrial and M-3 General
Industrial to R-5 Multiple Dwelling with a Planned Development Overlay.
(Generally located south of Woodland Avenue, west of Elmwood Avenue, north of
Wisconsin Street, and east of the Fox River.)
(As described in the attached "Exhibit A")
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication.

R-2 Two Family with a Planned Development Overlay, R-5 Multiple
Dwelling, M-2 Central Industrial and M-3 General Industrial
To:
R-5 Multiple Dwelling with a Planned Development Overlay
Beginning at the intersection of High Avenue and Woodland Avenue, thence northeast
along the centerline of Woodland Avenue to the intersection of Woodland Avenue and
Elmwood Avenue, thence southeast along the centerline of Elmwood Avenue to the
intersection of Elmwood Avenue and W. Lincoln Avenue, thence east-northeastly along
the center line of W. Lincoln Avuene to McKinley Avenue, thence continuing on an
easterly direction along the centerline of W. Lincoln Avenue to the intersection of W.
Lincoln Avenue and Cherry Street, thence south along the centerline of Cherry Street to
the intersection of Cherry Street and Irving Avenue, thence continuing south to the
southerly line of Irving Avenue right-of-way, thence westerly along said right of way
approximately 30,' or 245' east of the east line of Elmwood Avenue, thence southerly
120', thence westerly 270' to the centerline of Elmwood Avenue, thence southerly along
the centerline of Elmwood Avenue to the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Algoma
Boulevard, thence southeast along the centerline Algoma Boulevard to the intersection
of Algoma Boulevard and Wisconsin Street, thence southwesterly along the centerline
of Wisconsin Street to the intersection of Wisconsin Street and High Avenue, thence
northwesterly along the centerline of High Avenue 93', thence 150' parallel with
Wisconsin Street, thence 93' parallel with High Avenue to the centerline of Wisconsin
Street, thence southwesterly along the centerline of Wisconsin Street approximately
716' to the south line of block "Q", Western Addition, thence northwesterly along the
southerly line of block "Q" to southern-most corner of Lot 1, Block "Q", thence
northwesterly following the R-5 zoning line 89.24' to the eastern edge of Osceola Street,
thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line of Osceola Street extending to the
northeasterly shoreline of the Fox River, thence northwesterly along said shoreline of
the Fox River approximately 1,900 feet to the southerly line of an M-3 zoning district
line, which is also the north line of Ward One, thence approximately 300' along said
zoning and ward line, thence approximately 280' on a line nearly parallel to the Fox
River, thence southwesterly approximately 260 feet following the M-3 zoning district line
back to northeasterly shoreline of the Fox River, thence approximately 190' along said
shoreline of the Fox River to the centerline of Rockwell Avenue extended, thence
northeasterly following the centerline of Rockwell Avenue extended approximately 800'
to the intersection of Rockwell Avenue and High Avenue, thence northwesterly along
the centerline of High Avenue approximately 535' to the centerline of High Avenue and
Woodland Avenue, which is also the point of beginning.
