PURPOSE:
DETERMINATION OF NECESSITY TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY I
SOUTH WASHBURN STREET & MCCLONE DRIVE
INITIATED BY:
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved
WHEREAS, the City Administration has determined it is in the best interests of
the citizens of the City of Oshkosh to acquire land for a sanitary sewer lift station at the
southwest corner of S. Washburn Street and McClone Drive; and
WHEREAS, the completion of said project requires the acquisition of property
described in the attached "Exhibit A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies it is necessary for the City to acquire the
property described in the attached "Exhibit A" in order for said purpose to be
accomplished. It is further determined by the Common Council that acquisition of the
property described in the attached "Exhibit A" is hereby determined necessary pursuant
to the provisions of Section 32.05 and Section 32.07 of the Wisconsin Statutes.

(SW CORNER McCLONE DRIVE & S. WASHBURN STREET)
A part of Lot 2, Certified Survey Map No. 5370 of Winnebago County Records, in the
NE Yo of the Fractional NE Yo of Section 4, T17N, R16E, 13th Ward, City of Oshkosh,
Winnebago County, Wisconsin described as follows:
Conunencing at the southeast corner of said Lot 2 lying on the west line of S. Washburn
Street; thence N. 00°54'47" W., 33.90 feet along the west line ofS. Washburn Street to
the true point of beginning; thence N. 00°54'47" W., 104.99 feet along the west line ofS.
Washburn Street; thence 39.28 feet northwesterly along the arc of a curve concave to the
left of radius 25.00 feet whose chord bears N. 45°55'22" W., 35.36 feet and also being
the westerly line of S. Washburn Street and southerly line of McClone Drive; thence S.
89°04'03" W., 81.91 feet along the south line of McClone Drive; thence continuing along
the south line of McClone Drive 21.68 feet along the arc of a curve concave to the right
of radius 30.00 feet whose chord bears N. 70°13'40" W., 21.21 feet; thence continuing
along the south line of McClone Drive 4.09 feet along the arc of a curve concave to the
left of radius 30.00 feet whose chord bears N. 53°25'41" W., 4.08 feet; thence S.
00°54'47" E., 139.98 feet; thence N. 89°04'03" E., 130.00 feet to the true point of
beginning.
Said parcel contains approximately 16,840.92 sq. ft.
