PURPOSE:APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE & JURISDICTION
RESPONSIBILITY/WASHBURN STREET
INITIATED BY:DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is altering a portion of
STH 21 for the good and in the interest of the traveling public; and
WHEREAS, the alteration includes changes to the road system within the City of
Oshkosh.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Oshkosh agrees to accept
maintenance and jurisdiction responsibility of roadway described as follows:
A segment of proposed Washburn Street described as follows:
Commencing at the East 1/4 corner of Section 16, Township 18 North,
Range 16 East; thence N 89°50’20” W along the center 1/4 line of
Section 16 to the NW corner of the NE 1/4-SE 1/4 of said Section 16; thence
south along the West line of the NE 1/4-SE 1/4 approximately 350’ to a
point, also being the point of beginning; thence N 82°15’00” E. approx-
imately 265’ to the end of this segment.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the jurisdiction and maintenance responsibility
will become effective when the proposed Washburn Street is constructed and open to
traffic.
