Dear Sir,
The Otter Street Fishing Club is the sponsor of Walleye Fest
2004, to be held at Menominee Park on June 18,19,& 20th. Each
year we have encountered problems with access to the two large
docks in the park. Boats tied up at those docks remain there and
prevent access by the over 300 boats registered for the
tournament. We are informed by the police department that the
current ordinance allows boats to remain at these docks up
to 18 hours.
We would like to request the City Council to grant an exclusive
use permit to the Otter Street Fishing Club for these docks from
12:01 am on June 18th until 6 pm Sunday, June 20th for the
purpose of running this event. The Fishing Club has contributed
half the funds to construct these docks and would greatly
appreciate their exclusive use during these three days. We thank
you for granting this request last year and ask your
consideration again this year. Also a copy of the permit (if
granted) for on site use is requested.

Dear Mr. Wollangk,
I an1 writing to request the approval of Riverside Park for the annual
Brews a~nd Blues Festival. This is a charitable event that the Jaycees put
on. and we plan to donate proceeds to the Christine Ann Center as we
did last year. In the past, the event drew crowds of about 500 to 600
people. We hope to increase attendance to about 750 this year, making
it possible for us to give more money to the Oshkosh charity.
The event will take place from I PM to 6 PM on'Saturday, July 17th.
2004. We would like to begin setup for the event on Friday, the 16th of
July, as there is much to do to get ready. As usual, we will obtain
insurance for the event, and we will have it forwarded to yopr office.
If you have any questions. I can .be contacted at (920) 729 - 3883.
Otherwise, we look forward to the approval as we have a lot to plan to
make this year's Brews and Blues Fes~tival a success[ Thank you for your
time and consideration.
Sincerely,
VP. Community Development
