PURPOSE:
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
INITIATED BY: TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT
A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27-7 (A-
8) AND 27-23 (A-11) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THROUGH
STREETS AND PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 27-7 (A-8) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining
to through streets designated is hereby amended as follows:
A-8 THROUGH STREETS DESIGNATED
Delete Therefrom:
Linwood Avenue at its intersection with Crane Street,
Olive Street, Ontario Street, Mitchell Street, Plymouth
Street, Walnut Street, and
Wisconsin Street.
Wisconsin Street from Fox River to Viola Avenue
except at its intersection with Pearl Avenue, High
Avenue, Algoma Boulevard, Union Avenue (Church
Avenue), West Irving Avenue, West New York Avenue,
and West Murdock Avenue.
Add Thereto:
Linwood Avenue at its intersection with Crane Street,
Olive Street, Ontario Street, Mitchell Street, Plymouth
Street, Walnut Street and Beech Street.
Wisconsin Street from the Fox River to Packer Avenue
except at its intersection with Pearl Avenue, High
Avenue, Algoma Boulevard, Church Avenue, Irving
Avenue, New York Avenue, Murdock Avenue, Viola
Avenue and Smith Avenue.

SECTION 2. That Section 27-23 (A-11) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code
pertaining to parking regulations on designated streets and alleys is hereby amended as
follows:
A-11 PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS
HAZEL STREET
Delete Therefrom:
No parking, stopping, standing, waiting, east side, from
the southern right of way line of Bent Avenue to 108
feet south.
Add Thereto:
No parking, stopping, standing, waiting, east side, from
108 feet south of Bent Avenue to 75 feet north of Bent
Avenue on school days.
WISCONSIN STREET
Delete Therefrom:
No parking, east side, from 28 feet north of Prospect
Avenue to 100 feet south of New York Avenue during
the months of December, January, February and
March.
No parking, east side, from Prospect Avenue to 28 feet
north of Prospect Avenue.
Add Thereto:
No parking, east side, from 50 feet north of Prospect
Avenue to 100 feet south of New York Avenue during
the months of December, January, February and
March.
No parking, east side, from Prospect Avenue to 50 feet
north of Prospect Avenue.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage,
publication, and placement of the appropriate signage.
