PURPOSE: GRANT CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/110 N. SAWYER STREET
INITIATED BY: UNIFIED CATHOLIC SCHOOLS OF OSHKOSH
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: All found consistent with Standards set forth in
Section 30-11 (D) of the Zoning Ordinance and approved w/conditions as noted
BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that
conditional use permits are hereby granted under Section 30-11 of the Oshkosh Zoning
Ordinance for the following properties, and that said permits are granted with conditions,
if any, as noted for each respective property.

A conditional use permit to construct an approximate 35,000 sq. ft. addition for a second
gymnasium and upgraded commons area, to Lourdes High School, per the attached
"Exhibit B", with the condition that no internal changes be made to the interior of the
structure that would increase classroom space or students at the School without review
of a parking plan by the Department of Community Development.

Addition to City of Oshkosh - Conditional Use Permit

Description of the Project: This project provides an addition to the Lourdes H.S. facility,
currently used for approximately 400 sixth through twelfth grade students. This is Phase I of
the UCS five year Master Facilities Plan that will later include an elementary school at the UCS
West Side Sit~ The new wing and upgrading of the Lourdes facility will provide a much
needed second gymnasium and upgraded commons area. It will show that UCS is vibrant and
moving forward. The cost of the project is approximately $3.5 million with an anonymous
donor providing substantial financing to support the addition and further upgrading of the
entire facility, including making it handicap accessible. This project will lead to further support
through additional donations for this project, further upgrading of the facilities, student
scholarships, and a future elementary school for the ~Systera.
