HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-05JANUARY 13, 2004 04-05 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN ) PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: AWARD BID FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT NO. 03-04 STANDBY POWER SYSTEM AND SCADA UPGRADE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has heretofore advertised for bids for standby power system and Scada upgrade; and WHEREAS, upon the opening and tabulation of bids, it appears that the following is the most advantageous bid: THE SELMER COMPANY 2200 WOODALE AVE. GREEN BAY, WI 54313 Total Base Bid: Alternate 1 Alternate 3 Total Bid $2,814,000.00 -0- 23,000.00 $2,837,000.00 Acct. No. 551-1910-1799-00000 - Sewer Utility - Constr. in Progress NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the said bid is hereby accepted and the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into an appropriate agreement for the purpose of same, all according to plans, specifications, and bid on file.
