PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: ESTABLISH FAIR MARKET VALUE; AUTHORIZE PURCHASE/ 401 PEARL AVENUE CITY ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, the Common Council has previously determined the necessity of acquiring property to implement the previously approved Marion Rd./Pearl Ave. Redevelopment Project Area, as amended; and WHEREAS, a review appraisal has been made on the property to be acquired, which is described below: 401 Pearl Avenue; Jackson Glass Inc Lots 15, 16 & 17, Block G, Western Addition, 1st Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. (tax ID #901-0269-0000) and WHEREAS, the property and interest to be acquired includes land and buildings, if any, exclusive of equipment and fixtures both movable and immovable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that the Common Council certifies the review appraisal has been performed in a competent manner according to applicable State and Federal laws, policies and requirements. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the fair market value for said property is hereby established at TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($231,600.00). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to acquire said property and to execute all documents necessary to consummate this transaction. Money for this purpose is appropriated from: Account No.. 539-1040-7208-00000 TIF #13 Marion Road/Pearl Avenue Redevelopment.
