BILLS It is recommended that the bills, as audited and presented by the Director of Finance, be approved for payment. 2. NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Parkway Avenue to close Parkway Avenue, from Evans Street to Grove Street, on Saturday, August 31,2002, from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., for a neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 3. SACK IT TO GOODWILL Request permission to grant approval to National Guard military vehicles to utilize city streets in neighborhoods on Saturday, September 7, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., to pick up donations for the "Sack It To Goodwill" campaign, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 4. UW-OSHKOSH MOVE-IN Request permission to grant approval to UW-Oshkosh to change certain designated streets to one-way on Sunday and Monday, September 1 and 2, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., to assist with the University students move-in, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 5. FALL FEST Request permission to grant approval to UW-Oshkosh to close Pearl Avenue, from Osceola Street to Rockwell Avenue, on Saturday, September 21, 2002, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., for the University's Fall Fest celebration, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 6. BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK Request permission to grant approval to the American Cancer Society to utilize city streets and facilities on Saturday, October 12, 2002, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, for the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 7. SPECIAL OLYMPICS 2003 POLAR PLUNGE Request permission to grant approval to Special Olympics Wisconsin to utilize Menominee Park and facilities on Saturday, February 8, 2003, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., for the 2003 Polar Plunge, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 8. AWARENESS WALK Request permission to grant approval to the Oshkosh Down Syndrome Support Group to utilize South Park, city streets and facilities on Saturday, October 5, 2002, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., for their Awareness Walk, in accordance with the attached letter of request. 9. NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY Request permission to grant approval to the residents of Newport Court to close the Newport Court cul-de-sac where it intersects with Westhaven Drive on Wednesday, August 21, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., for a neighborhood block party, in accordance with the attached letter of request. · OCTOBERFEST ON THE WATER Request permission to grant approval to the organizing committee of Octoberfest on the Water to utilize Riverside Park and facilities on Saturday, October 12, 2002, from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, and on Sunday, October 13, 2002, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., for their event, in accordance with the attached letter of request. · Indicates Revision
