PURPOSE: ZONE CHANGES: (A) W. 9TH AVENUE W OF & ADJACENT TO 119 W. 9TH AVENUE (B) WISCONSIN STREET, N OF SMITH AVENUE & SOUTH OF WEATHERSTONE DRIVE (C) VIOLA AVENUE, BETWEEN 2004 JACKSON STREET AND 314 VIOLA AVENUE INITIATED BY: (A) (c) GRACE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH; (B) DEWEY HOMES; GARY EAKE PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: All Approved A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30-16 (B) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ZONING DISTRICTS. The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 30-16(B) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to Zoning Districts and the map therein described is hereby amended by changing the district character of the following described areas. (A) W. 9th Avenue, West of and Adjacent to 119 W. 9th Avenue From: R-2 Two Family To: C-3 Central Commercial The W 35 ft. of Lot 6, Block 15, Original Plat, 3rd Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin plus public right-of-way abutting said lot extending to the centerline of W. 9th Avenue. (B) Wisconsin Street, East Side, North of Smith Avenue & South of Weatherstone Drive From: C-2 General Commercial To: R-3 Multiple Dwelling Beginning at a point on the S line of said SE ¼ of the NE ¼, 402 ft. W of the E ¼ corner and being the point of beginning; thence N 165 ft.; thence W along the S line of CSM 4204 ft. to a point on E line Wisconsin Street; thence S along said E line 165 ft.; thence A along S line of said SE ¼, NE ¼ back to the point of beginning, 12th Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin plus public right-of-way abutting said lot extending to the centerline of Wisconsin Street. JULY 9, 2002 FIRST READING JULY 23, 2002 SECOND READING 02-256 02-272 ORDINANCE CONT'D (C) Viola Avenue, Between 2004 Jackson Street and 314 Viola Avenue From: R-4 Multiple Dwelling To: C-2 General Commercial Being a part of the S 137.5 ft. of vacated E ½ of alley lying W of Lot 23, also S ½ of vacated alley lying N of and adjacent to Lot 23, also all of Lot 23, Block 5, Plat of Interurban Land Co., 15th Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin plus public right-of-way abutting said lot extending to the centerline of Viola Avenue SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
